eResearch Otago provides research computing resources and services to researchers across the University:

The Aoraki cluster — shared CPUs, GPUs, large memory nodes and high-speed storage, together with specialised software and libraries optimised for scientific and data science computing.

Other Services — hosted applications such as CryoSPARC, ShinyProxy, SAS, databases, speech-to-text and translation, plus cloud native platforms.
- Training — hands-on Software and Data Carpentry workshops covering the Unix shell, Git, and Python or R. No prior experience needed.
All of it is available to University of Otago researchers. If you are not sure which suits your work, ask us.
